Lot #9. SULPHIDE. . Figure is an old woman, basket held in the crook of her left arm, holding the front of her dress or apron with her two hands. Excellent detail. No air bubbles on the figure. Lot #21. SWIRL. Divided core. Four band core. Two are yellow, pink, white and green. Two are yellow, pink, blue and white. Outer layer is four sets of strands. Two sets are white, two are yellow. Base glass is filled with tiny air bubbles. One tiny pit, one tiny subsurface moon, several tiny sparkles. Lot #25. SWIRL. Divided core. Three layer marble. Three band core. Each band is the same complex pattern of pink, green, blue, white and yellow. Middle layer is three sets of yellow strands, set to mirror the spaces in the core. Outer layer is three sets of white strands. Surface has been buffed. Pontils are pretty much intact, some damage remains. 1-5/8". Buffed. Pre-Sale Estimate: $60-$125. Final Bid: $50.

Lot #26. SWIRL. Ribbon core. Stunning marble. Double ribbon core swirl. One ribbon is bright blue and bright yellow. Other is bright white and bright red. Outer layer is on band of white strands and one band of yellow strands. Great coloring, possibly English. There is an annealing fracture inside the marble and one small subsurface moon. Still, it is a stunning marble and rare. 1-9/16". Near Mint (8.6). Pre-Sale Estimate: $130-$275. Final Bid: $100.

Lot #27. SWIRL. Ribbon core. Fat single ribbon. White ribbon. One side has pink and blue bands. Other side has green and pink bands. Outer layer is four sets of yellow strands. The marble has been remelted. 1-1/2". Pre-Sale Estimate: $45-$90. Final Bid: $90.

Lot #28. SWIRL. Solid core. Interesting bright colors. The core is a series of bands. Several bands are missing creating clear spaces. The existing bands are orange, blue and greenish yellow. The blue has annealing fractures on them (intentional). The outer layer is a cage of white strands. Two tiny subsurface moons. 1-3/8". Near Mint(+) (8.9). Pre-Sale Estimate: $130-$275. Lot #29. SWIRL. Ribbon core. This is a great marble. Three layer marble. Thin single ribbon core. White ribbon with pink bands and a few yellow bands. Middle layer is a cage of yellow strands. Outer layer is four bands. One each of pink on white, blue on white, pink on yellow, green on yellow. Some tiny pits and scratches on the marble, typical of a large one this age. Lot #32. SWIRL. Divided core. White latticinio strands in divided form. Three bands. Outer layer is three bands, mirroring the spaces in the core. Lot #33. SWIRL. Solid core. Opaque white core with two yellow bands in it. Alternating pink and blue bands on the core. Outer layer is four sets of yellow strands. One pit and one airhole. 1-1/16". Mint(-) (9.1). Pre-Sale Estimate: $60-$125. Final Bid: $55.

Lot #34. SWIRL. Ribbon core. Very nice marble. Single ribbon core. Opaque white ribbon. Pink bands on the faces, blue band on each edge. Outer layer is a set of yellow strands mirroring the faces. Lot #35. SWIRL. Ribbon core. Superb and rare end of cane (first off cane) naked single ribbon core swirl. The ribbon is alternating bands of white, green, pink, blue and yellow. The ribbon fills the marble from one side to the other. Colors come out of one side and shoot out the top. Stunning and very rare!!!! 25/32". Mint (9.7). Pre-Sale Estimate: $400-$800. Lot #36. SWIRL. Ribbon core. Naked single ribbon core swirl. Thin ribbon, tightly twisted. The ribbon is one half bright yellow and one half transparent purple. White band in the center and a white band at either edge. Stunning. 21/32". Mint (9.8). Pre-Sale Estimate: $125-$250. Final Bid: $195.

Lot #37. SWIRL. Ribbon core. Stunning double ribbon core swirl. Two ribbons. One is white, blue, yellow and orange. Other is green, yellow and orange. Triple twisted. It looks exactly like an augur-type ribbon corkscrews. This is a rare marble, absolutely superb. 5/8". Mint (9.8). Pre-Sale Estimate: $200-$400. Final Bid: $260.

Lot #38. SWIRL. Solid core. Gorgeous. Opaque white base. Very slightly lobed. Three lobes. Each has a very wide panel of transparent red in it. Only a thin white strand shows at each peak. Lot #40. SWIRL. Latticinio core. Wow! Three layer marble. Really a Gooseberry swirl. White latticinio core. Middle layer is a cage of yellow latticinio strands. Lot #77. LUTZ. Swirl. Extremely rare marble. Transparent lightly tinted blue base. Ghost core with two green strands. Outer layer is four bands. Each band is the same pattern: lutz band, green strand, lutz band, blue strand. One band is missing the first lutz bands (i.e., it only has one band of lutz in it. Surface is pristine. Lot #252. CONTEMPORARY HANDMADE. Dudley Giberson. "Old" contemporary. Very odd style. Seven silhouette canes in the middle of a clear sphere. Three are flowers, a snake, two animals and a human.
