Lots in Sale (with final bids, without 10% buyer's premium): Mid-19th Century sulphide paperweight. This one is most likely English, not
French. Figure is a side view Grecian bust of a women with a wreath of ivy
around her hair. Exceptional detail to the figure. No air bubbles at all,
perfect silvering. This is an excellent example of it's type. The sulphide
figure is not signed, so it is probably not Pellat or Ford, probably one of the
smaller glass houses. Nice dome, with a rib around the equator. The ribbing was
ground to shape, you can still see faceting at the join, it is not molded. Super
example. Rare. 2-5/8". Mint (9.8). Pre-Sale Estimate: $400-$800. Current High
