TP Lot #14.SWIRL. Latticinio core.Stunning and exceptionally rare marble. Transparent cobalt blue base. White latticinio core. There is an outer layer of clear. In that layer are four wide bands. Two are pink and green on yellow, two are pink and blue on white. Two extremely tiny chips. Faceted pontil. Germany, circa 1870-1915. 29/32". Near Mint(+) (8.9). This marble is extremely rare. Cobalt blue base swirls are very rare in any event. This is one of the very few known to exist with a clear outer layer. TP Lot #60.LUTZ. Cloud.Very rare Cloud Lutz. Single-pontil, left-twist Cloud Lutz. Transparent clear base. Core is semi-opaque white, in a cloud form with an open space at the top. Almost completely covered with heavy, thick splotches of lutz. Four crimps in the core. The lutz splotches even cover the opening at the top. Absolutely superb design. One large chip, a couple of small chips, several very small subsurface moons. All the damage is pretty much confined to one side of the marble. It views very well. Germany, circa 1870-1915. 1-3/4". TP Lot #179.MISCELLANEOUS. Tivoli Game.Very rare Tivoli game, the best I have ever seen. "The Jolly Marble Game". You put a marble on the knob at the top and it zig-zags down the five swinging figures with cups. Then down a ramp that you aim, to score holes. In absolutely remarkable shape. The cup figures are all intact and complete. The graphics are clean, bright and complete. Each of the five cup figures and the knob figure are named. I have researched the names and cannot find any reference to them. They were probably known to English children in the 19th Century. Missing three brads. The wire support is a bit short, that would probably need replacing. In remarkable shape, the best I've ever seen. Wood. 19-1/2" long and 19" high. Mid to late 1800s. Mint(-). TP Lot #209.MISCELLANEOUS. Tournament Sweater.Extremely rare item. Wool sweater vest from a champion in a West Coast Marble King Tournament. The sweater is white. Sewn to it are "Seattle Wash." and a patch reading "Marble King Tournament Champion". This is on the front. On the back is "Wesley". The vest has some moth holes in it. This is an extremely rare item. A similar one is pictured in 1940s issue of Life Magazine. The only other actual one I am aware of is in the National Marbles Hall of Fame in Wildwood New Jersey.
