TP Lot #1.SULPHIDE. .

Rare anthropomorphic figure. A dog dressed in human clothes, seated and playing a musical instrument. The dog is wearing a peaked French hat. You can see the ponytail of his hair on the back of his neck. Wearing a waistcoat and trousers. He has human hands and is playing a stringed musical instrument. Exceptional detail to the figure. No air bubbles. Set slightly high. Surface in remarkable shape with two melt spots near the top. I've been told that this is a character from a French fairy tale. This is the finest example of this figure that I have ever seen. Germany, circa 1870-1915. 1-9/16". Mint (9.6). Pre-Sale Estimate: $450-$900. Final Bid: $380.

Exceptional texture, looks like the geysers on a Simpson Planet. One tiny moon, one tiny rough spot. The marble views much better than that. If it weren't for those two defects, it would be a 9.9. The Little American Maid Tea Set. No. 4150 Onyx Tea Set. Lemonade oxblood set complete in original box. Set includes a tea pot, four cups, four saucers, four cake plates, a creamer, a sugar, and a tea pot top. All in very flourescent superb lemonade oxblood. The set is complete and intact. One cup cracked and was repaired. The box is the original box, often you'll find these better oxblood sets put into a non-Onyx box, but this is in the original box. The box top has one split corner.
